Loomind uses a unique two-component system to guarantee both power and security:
Local Helper (loomind-helper)
This is your personal "data engine" that you run on your computer. It's responsible for all the "heavy lifting": indexing documents, vectorizing text, and managing your local knowledge base. It is what ensures the privacy of your data.
Main Application (loomind)
This is your user-friendly interface and a secure "bridge" to cloud intelligence. When you ask a question, the application sends only the necessary, anonymized context for the answer to the server, which in turn queries the AI using a securely stored API key.
Built-in WYSIWYG
This isn't just a notepad, but an editor with a full range of formatting options: fonts (including system fonts), sizes, lists, and alignment.
Comprehensive import
It can open not only txt or md files, but also import content from .docx and .pdf files. Seamlessly pull in text from these complex formats to integrate all your existing work .
Powerful export
